A Visionary And Realist Passes On

TRC President, Dr R. Theyvendran, PBM and Deputy President, Mr. S. Vivavananda together with four others paid their tribute on Saturday, 22nd May 2010, on the passing away of former Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Dr. Goh Keng Swee
at Parliament House.

The late Dr Goh was a tough yet a kind-hearted visionary who molded our republic into one dynamic nation.

On the condolence book, TRC signed off in deep respect and admiration for a man who contributed so much to Singapore’s success story.

“We are what we are today – one united nation – for the tireless efforts of Dr Goh. We record our deepest condolence on behalf of the TRC Council and its members to the passing on of a great and good man,” said Dr R. Theyvendran at the wake.

May his spirit continue to guide us all.
