தொண்டூழியர்களுக்கு பாராட்டும் நன்றியும்

தமிழர் பேரவை தொண்டூழியர்களுக்கு பாராட்டும் நன்றியும் தெரிவிக்கும் வகையில் ஜூன் முதல் தேதி அன்று விருந்து நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெற்றது.

தமிழர் பேரவையின் பல நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கு முதுகெலும்பாக திகழும் நமது தொண்டூழியர்கள் இவ்வாண்டு சொற்போரின்போது பல சனிக்கிழமைகளைத் தியாகம் செய்திருந்தனர். அவர்களின் கடமை உணர்வும் கடும் உழைப்பும் மெச்சத்தக்கது.

பேரவை ஆண்டுதோறும் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு தொடர்ந்து ஏற்பாடு செய்யும்.

TRC Volunteers Appreciation Dinner

An appreciation dinner for volunteers of TRC was held on Saturday 1st June at Ceylon Sports Club.

Volunteers have always been the backbone for many of TRC events, and especially during Sorpor 2013 which was held from January to April. Many had forgone their Saturday mornings to give support. The simple fare was an appreciation for their hard work and also to get them to understand TRC’s work and objectives. We need the support of volunteers for many of TRC’s upcoming programmes and this occasion was to show them that they are a highly-valued group of people.

Games were organised to break the ice. It was interesting to note that some introvert members showed much enthusiasm and participated actively. Of course we had a dance floor for members which made the event more memorable.

TRC will continue to organise an annual Volunteers Nite.
